I discovered acting almost by accident at university, and it changed everything. After training in Paris with Philippe Gaulier and Monika Pagneaux, I began creating my own theatre work and went on to work extensively as a film and television actor. Writing fiction eventually took over, but I’ve recently returned to the theatre with Blizzard and Revolver.

Acting across film and television includes The Full Monty, Velvet Goldmine, Pandaemonium, The Woodlanders and Mothering Sunday, alongside television work including Middlemarch, Oliver Twist, Vera, George Gently and Finding Alice.
